Lead the development and implementation of full-stack web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability
Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to enhance team skillsets and code quality
Design and develop system architecture for new applications and features, making strategic decisions about frameworks, tools, and technologies
Develop and maintain robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services
Create and optimize user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), ensuring a seamless user experience
Develop and maintain server-side logic, databases, and application functionality using back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails)
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve application speed, scalability, and overall efficiency

Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with recent experience in a financial institution
Proven experience working in agile or scalable agile environments, understanding agile principles and practices
Experience working in cross-cultural and cross-national organizations, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams
Proven ability to work effectively in cross-national and cross-cultural teams
Experience working with English as the official language, with a proficiency level of at least B2
Extensive development experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
Strong experience in building and consuming APIs using Node.js and Express
Hands-on experience with Azure or similar cloud services, including but not limited to Azure SQL Database (NoSQL databases) Azure Service Bus (messaging) Azure App Service (runtime environments)
Experience using databases with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools such as Prisma or Mongoose
Proficient in front-end development using frameworks like React and Redux.

Experience working in the Financial or Insurance industry, with a solid understanding of industry-specific processes and requirements
Experience with Guidewire software, including configuration and integration within insurance applications
