Work closely with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize relevant LLM/NLP use cases, evaluating their business impact and feasibility.
Build, fine-tune, and optimize NLP models to enhance their performance and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
Collaborate with global agile teams across Roche Informatics to develop high-value products for both pharmaceutical and diagnostics divisions.
Offer expert advice on analytical use cases involving LLM/NLP, assessing various AI platforms and approaches.
Act as a coach or mentor within the Data and Analytics (DnA) chapter, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

M.Sc. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields with a strong focus on machine learning and AI.
Minimum of 5 years in data science, with significant hands-on experience in NLP and the use of LLMs.
Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries like transformers, gensim, spaCy; experience with PyTorch, Docker, and GPU usage.
Demonstrated ability to implement and deploy LLM solutions on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Knowledge in managing, training, and optimizing language models, ensuring integration and compliance within IT infrastructure.
Excellent data storytelling abilities, capable of translating complex technical details into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Background in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is preferred.
Fluent in English, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
