Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Collaboration for Tool Development

    Collaborate with cloud vendors to define and implement new SaaS features and enhancements for content management tools and platforms

  • Tool Customization and Extension

    Customize and extend the functionality of existing documentation and content management tools to meet organizational needs, ensuring seamless integration with vendor updates

  • Configuration of CCMS Platforms

    Configure and maintain CCMS (Component Content Management System) platforms according to specific business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

  • Workflow and Template Customization

    Customize workflows, templates, and metadata schemas within the CCMS to align with industry best practices in content management

  • Content Version Control and Configuration Management

    Ensure proper version control and configuration management of content assets, maintaining integrity and traceability across all content repositories

  • System Integration

    Integrate documentation and content management tools with other organizational software systems, including version control systems, translation management systems, and CI/CD pipelines

  • API and Plugin Development

    Assist in developing APIs or plugins to enable seamless interaction between documentation and content management tools and other platforms within the organization

  • Ongoing Tool Maintenance

    Continuously work with cloud vendors to improve content management tools by fixing bugs, adding new features, and ensuring system compatibility with other organizational tools

  • User Support and Issue Resolution

    Provide ongoing support to technical writers, content creators, and other users of documentation and content management tools, helping them resolve issues and optimize their workflows

  • End-to-End Content Lifecycle Support

    Support the complete content lifecycle, from creation to publication, ensuring content is managed efficiently and effectively

  • Content Strategy Collaboration

    Collaborate with content creators, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to develop and implement content strategies and guidelines

  • Content Repository Management

    Manage content repositories to ensure the organization, accessibility, and security of all content assets

  • Performance Optimization

    Optimize the performance of documentation and content management tools to ensure they can handle large volumes of content and support a growing number of users

  • User Training and Education

    Provide training and support to users, developing documentation and training materials to educate them on best practices for content creation, management, and publication, and serving as the primary point of contact for configuration and content management inquiries
