The main tasks for the Software Engineer will be:

• Troubleshooting, resolving, and identifying root causes for manufacturing problems
• Planning and coordinating application activities, general system upkeep, and upgrades
• Coordinating release actions for a project, safeguarding that audit necessities are met
• Monitoring and assessing overall system health, capacity, and providing commendations to management
• Contributing to Disaster Recovery actions
• Creating high- and low-level application design objects including process flow data models and interfaces grounded on maintenance, operations, and performance values
• Maintaining the steadiness of GTExchange & SWIFT Alliance applications – troubleshooting production occurrences as they arise, classifying the root cause and fixes
• Application upgrade and release cycles, testing, alteration management, and process development
• Interacting with business units and technology associates, and exterior vendors. Periodic/rotating weekend support work is required

The Candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • computer science
  • information technology
  • or a similar field
• IT expert with wide financial messaging knowledge:
  • MT and MX (ISO20022) SWIFT standards.
• SME level information of financial messaging creation that cooperates with SWIFT
• Some known monetary messaging goods:
  • GTExchange
  • IMS
  • SWIFT Alliance Messaging Hub etc.
• 4 or more years of involvement in:
  • Unix/Linux
  • Shell Scripting
  • Java
  • Jasper
  • MQ
  • Oracle
  • Tomcat
• Good practice in handling deployments, formations, workflow/routing rules changes, and production troubleshooting.
• Working with developers, engineers, exterior vendors, and business partners in the application of software and hardware upgrades.
• Bringing high-value products on time, though working in Agile crews and following Agile practices
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Hands-on skills in SWIFT substructure such as:
  • SAG/SNL and related components
• Contact with ISO20022 standard migration from MT
