The main tasks for the Senior Python Developer will be:

• Assisting in resolving any technical problems for the team. Troubleshooting and bug repairing reported problems with the system
• Leading improvement projects
• End to end technical accountability (shared with development crew) for the Genomics Platform backend structures

The Candidate should have:

• 5 years or more of practice in Python
• 4 years or more of involvement in software development
• Advanced abilities and capability with version control and JIRA-like task management
• Docker
• AWS cloud involving:
  • S3
  • IAM
  • EC2
  • DynamoDB
  • Elasticsearch
  • EKS
  • ECR
• CI pipelines
• Automated testing:
  • unit
  • int
  • e2e
  • performance
  • regression
• Good sense on HTTP protocol
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Kubernetes
• Process orchestration in high-performance computing settings
• Developing distributed systems
• CD pipelines
• Sense of asynchronous programming:
  • task/job queues
  • JSON syntax
• General understanding of Redis
  • RabbitMQ
• Basic understanding of OAuth 2.0 framework
