Seargin is looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer

  • Position: Senior Java Backend Developer
  • Technologies: Java, SOAP, Spring
  • Location: Warsaw/Wrocław and remote
  • Area: Project

  • Experience Level: Senior

The Candidate should have:
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with web based or integration Java applications
  • Expertise in web based OOP
  • Working experience with HTTP based APIs e.g. SOAP / REST
  • Significant knowledge and skills of Spring Framework and JPA
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Experience with Micro-services
  • Knowledge of Clean Code and Unit Testing
  • Experience with Git, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and automation deployment
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 
  • Functional programming
  • Kotlin or Kafka knowledge
  • Experience releasing web applications on large cloud-based services provider
