Seargin is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer

The main tasks for the Senior Cloud Engineer will be:

• Following software engineering principles to create and sustain a multi-account/region environment
• Administering and enhancing self-service platform for DevOps product teams
• Designing, creating, and operating a Hybrid/Multi region Landing Zone
• Designing, creating, and operating new solutions based on internal customer needs
• Implementing cutting-edge technologies on challenging initiatives
• Designing & developing curated building blocks (Terraform modules, AMI’s)

The Candidate should have:

• Experience with:
  • Designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions, at least 4 years of experience as a proficient AWS engineer
  • Minimum one modern programming language (Python, Go, Node.js)
  • IaC - Terraform, knowledge of Cloud Security
• Capability to think outside the box, looking at creating reusable building blocks
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Professional background as a software or infrastructure engineer
• Experience in:
  • Linux and networks administration/problem solving
  • Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
  • Monitoring tools such as CloudWatch/Prometheus/ELK
