Main tasks for the Senior Business Analyst SAP FICO will be:

• Designing, building and deploying new solution under the product “Consolidation and Group Reporting”, retiring business solutions
• Liaising with the Product Managers and business stakeholders to understand the Functional requirements (what) and identify the appropriate technology that better meet the needs (how)
• Collaborating with Technical IT Teams, Infrastructure and any other IT business streams and products whenever required
• Ensuring:
  • Compliance, usability, performance, stability, availability for the solutions built
  • Solutions are built, tested and deployed to meet the business requirements
• Analysing: reviewing balance sheet scnenarios in SAP ECC (FI-GL) and mapping them to reporting requirements (i.e. transaction types)
• Designing: Translating the needs of the business from a Functional Specification into clear build specifications from which a solution can be developed
• Producing Build Specifications and prototype where required
• Developing: Liaising with Offshore Development Team: Make sure that the development team deliver the correct solution as per functional specification
• Testing: Creating and executing test scripts to assure development is fit for Production using Nestle standard approach
• Deploying: Managing release of the Change and agree delivery dates to production. Defining the required historical data and retention period for the solution in Productive system
• Training: Preparing training material and assuring Regional Business Solutions and sustaining teams are adequately trained on the delivered solutions
• Sustaining: Providing consultancies to 3rd party Sustain team to assure correct resolution of IM’s, RM’s and Problem tickets, that requires a configuration to be fixed (break fix).
• Taking pro-active actions to resolve the Root Cause not just the symptoms thereby ensuring continuous improvement and waste reduction

The Candidate should have:

• Educational background with Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area
• Excellent knowledge of:
  • The IT landscape in the functional area
  • SAP FI modules especially GL, AA
• Good knowledge of:
  • SAP modules AR and AP and integration of FI modules with CO, MM, SD and HR modules
  • R2R flow and management accounting area (controlling and costing, profit center accounting, cost center accounting, profitability analysis)
• Experience in:
  • Effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
  • Working in a global environment and with virtual teams
  • Following technologies: SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP Design Studio
• Ability to work under pressure, deadline driven
• Hands on – can do mentality
• Self starter skills, ability to learn
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Business experience in a relevant function (e.g. Accounting or Group Consolidation)
• A good knowledge of Consolidation processes, especially in the area of Balance Sheet reporting
