Seargin is looking for a Senior BigData Engineer with German

• Position: Senior BigData Engineer with German

Main tasks for the Senior BigData Engineer with German will be:

• Using the most advanced technology stack and implementing new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries
• Participating in international projects based on Java and MS Azure platform

The Candidate should have:

• At least 6 years of commercial experience in Big Data
• Deep understanding & familiarity with Hadoop Ecosystem (e.g. HDFS, HBase, Hive, Impala)
• Experience in:
  • Working on Hadoop distribution systems [Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR]
  • Stream processing using [Spark Streaming, Kafka, Flink, Storm]
  • Data Integration using [NiFi, Sqoop]
  • Workflow scheduling using [AirFlow, Oozie]
  • Transforming business issues/challenges to technical solutions involving security, performance, scalability etc.
  • Using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Developing ELT/ETL in Azure Data Factory, SSIS, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, Ab Initio, Talend, Alteryx, IBM Data Stage, Dataiku, Oracle Data Integrator or other
  • BI tools like Power BI, SAP BO, Qlikview, QlikSense, Tableau or other
  • Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Enterprise-class solution implementations
• Expertise in Spark and [Python, Scala]
• Understanding of:
  • Data management concepts
  • The importance of governance and security rules when handling data
• Flexibility and proactiveness/self-motivation skills
• Very good knowledge of German (verbal and written)
• Familiarity with:
  • Big Data architecture patterns (such as Lambda, Kappa)
  • Data modelling and concepts like:
    • Data Lake
    • Data Virtualization
    • Data Mart
    • Data Warehouse (e.g. dimensions modelling)
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)
