Seargin is looking for a Python Django Developer

• Position: Python Django Developer

Main tasks for the Python Django Developer will be:

• Dealing with technical issues related to optimization and security of web applications (working with algorithms)
• Creating and developing (minimum 80% new features) advanced backend solutions with usage of: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS
• Following the highest quality standards (over 85% code covered unit tests)
• Working closely with other experienced project team members (8 people: frontend, backend, testers)
• Communicating and discussing about technical problems with other project’s members (experienced more or less)
• Participating in weekly meetings of our Python Developers’ Gildia, where we discuss about solutions of real problems, which our developers meet in the project

The Candidate should have:

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development with Python and Django
• Extensive practical experience with using Django framework
• Hands-on knowledge of:
  • System Control Version (preferred: GIT, SVN)
  • Continuous Integration (preferred: Jenkins)
  • REST APIs
  • Python coding principles and good practices
• Willingness to improve ways of working
• Proactive, open-minded, team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Familiarity with:
  • AWS and/or other Cloud solution
  • Linux environment
  • React or other JS frontend framework
