The main tasks for the Project Manager – Scrum Master will be:

• Administering the end-to-end delivery of complex system solutions, establishing and controlling project constraints and scope
• Heading relationships and communication with all project stakeholders
• Concerting approach to delivery within the delivery project team
• Playing the role of the leader and coach of the project team as appropriate and according to the needs of the individual project
• Assuring that the scrum team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and rules, and working as a servant leader within the project team
• Ensuring clear ownership for and visibility of the resolution of all project risks and issues
• Leading improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the project delivery service and contributing to the identification of areas of improvement
• Making sure that the decisions made on the project approach are documented and comply with our requirements
• Giving regular, constructive feedback to project team members and their line managers
• Preparing progress updates for the department programme (Strategics Portfolios)
• Developing and maintaining effective and proactive relationships with all customers including suppliers and third parties
• Supporting the Service Owner(s) for Project Delivery in maintaining and developing processes, standards, tools, and reporting and their documentation and proactively reviewing the service provided to end-users and customers

The Candidate should have:

• Experience in:
  • The delivery of projects in an agile environment
  • The use of tools and techniques to facilitate effective project delivery
  • The Scrum Master position (preferably with certification), with a background in other project frameworks such as Lean, Kanban, PMO
• Such traits as enthusiasm, driven, self-motivated with a focus on customer service, excellent personal organization, and the ability to demonstrate consistently balanced good judgment and logical thought prioritization
• Engaged in the development of all team members and continuous development of capability within the department
• Familiarity with all phases of software development projects including analysis, systems design, development, and testing approaches
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills focus on results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including facilitation and coaching and the ability to lead and influence others
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)
