Seargin is looking for a Manual Tester

• Position: Manual Tester
• Technologies: Operating systems (Windows, Unix), SQL/ PLSQL,Web GUI, GIS
• Location: Warsaw / Remote
• Country: Poland
• Area: Project
• Form of employment: Permanent (preferred) and B2B
• Experience Level: Junior/Mid

The main tasks for the Manual Tester will be:

• Translating business requirements into test scenarios and test cases
• Creating test documentation
• Being responsible for the design and execution of functional test cases, report testing progress and defects
• Improving the testing process and develop test automation scripts
• Collaborating closely with project managers, technical leaders, business analysts and other test team members
• Working proactively to resolve any issues

The Candidate should have:

• Solid testing background (creating Test Cases, Test Execution, Test Reporting)
• Familiarity with
  • Waterfall/Scrum methodology
  • Functional / Integration / Exploratory Testing and Defect Tracking (At least 2 years)
  • ALM, Jira or other test repository/defect tracking tools
• Knowledge of:
  • Operating systems (Windows, Unix)
  • SQL/ PLSQL
  • Web GUI
  • GIS
• Experience in at least one of below technologies:
  • API testing, WebServices (SOAP, Rest), WS-Security concepts, XML, XPath, Bash
  • Java, Junit, TestNG, maven, Selenium
  • LoadRunner, JMeter
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)
• Fluent Polish

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Experience in development of automated test scripts
