Seargin is looking for a Junior Platform Engineer

  • Position: Junior Platform Engineer
  • Technologies: Python, Azure, Pandas

The main tasks for the Junior Platform Engineer will be:
  • Checking and retaining specific components of the Data Ecosystem infrastructure in the cloud e.g:
    • cloud storage
    • queues
    • and databases
  • Examining automated alerts, as well as cases described by data engineers and data scientists
  • Understanding how to develop and constantly enhance shared code libraries and other devices to help data engineers and data scientists
  • Following guidance path suggested by your mentor and constantly adding more value by contributing to the squad objectives

The Candidate should have:
  • Little involvement in:
    • deploying
    • maintaining
    • and examining cloud supplies within an Azure setting
  • Learned or utilized Python for data solutions, i.e:
    • Pandas
    • NumPy
  • Realize the concept of running and managing containers, i.e., Kubernetes and Docker
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 
  • Know Azure components: AZ-900
