Seargin is looking for an IT Assessment Security Specialist

• Position: IT Assessment Security Specialist
• Technologies: IT risk assessment, IT audit, IT Security
• Area: Project/Maintenance                                             
• Localization: Remotely now/in Kraków after pandemic with one day remotely/week
• Form of employment: permanent contract
• Experience Level: Mid/Regular

Main tasks for the IT Assessment Security Specialist will be:

• Analyze new IS risks and improve appropriate mitigation activities
• Provide support for project-based activities by advisory, consultancy and guidance
• Identify security requirements for a particular business cases
• Estimate the equality of security controls, analyze and recommend any new shortcomings
• Bring contribution to performing security control identification, assess security controls equality and effectiveness
• Contribute to analysis of the asset threats, vulnerabilities, associated risks and risk mitigation controls.
• Provide bespoke consultancy in purpose of helping IS teams or management to solve IS security complex issues of various scope.

The Candidate should have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT with 3 years of experience in IT risk assessment, audit and process controls
• Profound IS security technology knowledge connected with general understanding of the whole context of business processes and the influence on IS software
• Experience in project organization and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and the whole process
• Experience of analyzing and solving IS security technology issues
• Understanding of IS operational processes and best practices
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Certificate(s) such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, ITIL, CGEIT
