Seargin is looking for a DevOps Engineer

• Position: DevOps Engineer
• Technologies: DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes
• Location: Wrocław/Szczecin/Remote or Remote

• Experience Level: Junior / Mid

The main tasks for the DevOps Engineer will be:

• Installation, configuration, and virtualization of OS and services
• Producing a home-grown solution (not AWS/Azure/GCP), which help the client to create a cloud setting
• Operating container services such as:
  • OpenShift
  • K8S
• Managing various levels of services
• Creating and running PaaS on top of the structure that we are going to manage
• Written processing of OS installation on servers
• Working with:
  • Automation
  • Python
  • Ironic
  • RedFish
  • Automation
  • Puppet
  • PXE boot etc.
• Operating of structure setup
• Examining and troubleshooting network traffic flow
• Scripting and mechanization of tasks
• Working with Kubernetes system
• Cloud-native observing

The Candidate should have:

• Network insight and familiarity with IP network structure
• Skilled with DevOps mentality and this way of working
• The expertise of Server infrastructure
• Written management of OS installation on servers
• Understanding or experience within the Kubernetes ecosystem
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud-established solutions
• Practice in remote processes of structure setup
• Able to examine and troubleshooter system traffic
• Proficient in scripting and automation of responsibilities
• Bare metal as a service, Ironic for provisioning
• System brings up and structure managing
• Storage:
  • CEPH
  • Cortex
  • etc
• Cloud-native checking and observability
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)
