Seargin as a service provider does not have a significant impact on the environment. Nonetheless we are aware, that, just like every other company and person, our actions matter. By exercising reasonable care, we can minimize the negative effects of these actions. In case of Seargin we identified consumption of electricity to have the most adverse effect on the environment.

To that end Seargin has introduced following measures to minimise the impact:

  1. All employees to work on power efficient laptops by the end of 2019;

  2. External servers sourced only from the eco-friendly service providers;

  3. Air conditioning controllers set to fixed temperature values;

  4. The main logo switched off during the day.

Considering other measures unrelated to power consumption:

  1. Each of Seargin offices in Poland generates standard office waste. In 2018 we introduced recycling bins to manage the waste better.

  2. We aim to decrease paper consumption by duplex printing and transferring operations to paperless HR platforms;

  3. Seargin encourages black and white printing which is set to default setting;

  4. Seargin is committed to working with thirdparty vendors and service providers who, at a minimum, uphold the relevant environmental laws, regulations and policies of the countries in which they do business;

  5. Smart travel program has introduced significant improvements to the travel system. Most of employees are encouraged to use eco-friendly travel options. Train transportation is utilised where possible. The program assumes better travel planning and meeting scheduling to avoid single-destination trips;

  6. Special attention is used in sourcing materials within 100 km of the office to reduce transportation costs and emissions to the environment.
