Liaise with key stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions.
Regularly interface with customer representatives to gather insights and understand project requirements.
Organize and lead workshops with customers to collect business requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks and provide regular status reports to the manager and onsite coordinators.
Assist with testing created applications and systems to ensure quality and alignment with customer needs.
Promote a high standard of work culture, fostering teamwork and leading by example.
Participate in company-wide initiatives to drive teamwork and improvement.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments (e.g., investment funds), and financial systems.
Deep experience with WAM processes, system design, development, and testing of system interfaces (e.g., mappings).
Experience with portfolio management, trade execution, data control, operations, and portfolio administration.
Ability to understand and streamline client requirements for the development team.
Review client processes and workflows and make recommendations to improve package benefits.
In-depth understanding of front office (Portfolio Management), middle office (Risk, Settlements), and back office (Fund Administration, Reporting) processes, as well as project topics like gap analysis, process optimization, business reengineering, and straight-through processing (STP).
Strong command of English and a good working knowledge of German (B2 minimum).
Over 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Wealth & Asset Management industry, with end-to-end project implementation experience.
Strong understanding of various asset classes such as fixed income, equity, and derivatives, across front office, middle office, and back office operations for both buy-side and sell-side businesses.
Ability to collect business requirements (product settings, workflows, accounting rules, etc.) from customers and translate them into personalized configurations and system setups.
Act as an effective bridge between clients and developers, translating business requirements into technical language for the development team.
