Responsible for oversight and management of all testing activities for healthcare applications, ensuring they meet health industry regulations and standards
Manage and prioritize the testing of health-specific features, such as integration with EHR systems, medical devices, and telemedicine platforms
Manage software and hardware resources required for testing
Define the scope of testing, design test strategies, plans, and procedures, and analyze test activities
Ensure that testing takes into consideration healthcare-specific nuances, such as data privacy, clinical workflows, and patient safety
Ensure that testing activities align with software development lifecycle phases and project milestones
Identify risks associated with testing and propose mitigation strategies
Manage defect tracking and resolution processes
Monitor testing activities, conduct performance reviews, and document test findings
Ensure continuous improvement of testing practices through feedback, lessons learned, and process updates

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Possession of a testing certification, e.g., ISTQB, CSTE
Experience with healthcare IT systems, e.g., EHR, Epic
