Engage in regular meetings with the product team to discuss and align on the development and configuration of the cloud-based Material Inventory platform
Work on integrating the cloud-based platform with existing systems to ensure a seamless end-to-end workflow for scientists
Participate in developing the product roadmap, providing input on features, timelines, and priorities
Assist the Product Manager, Product Owner, and Business Analysts with managing the product backlog and refining technical user stories
Provide technical advice and solutions to support the team’s needs and address complex technical issues
Manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with teams such as DevSecOps, solution architects, and testing teams to ensure project alignment with enterprise goals
Create and propose technical design concepts and strategies to ensure the product is scalable and future-proof
Act as a mentor and share knowledge with junior team members, providing guidance and support
Monitor and ensure the security, scalability, quality, and performance of the product, addressing any issues as they arise
Manage and document functional requirements to ensure they are met throughout the development process
Utilize strong analytical skills to solve problems creatively and efficiently
Stay updated on industry trends related to data management and cloud platforms, and integrate best practices into the product development process
Ensure that the product meets the required standards and aligns with the overall enterprise strategy through rigorous testing and validation
Regularly review and propose improvements to development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.

At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing cloud-native applications on AWS
Over 5 years of experience in creating software designs using industry best practices and design patterns
Expertise in designing and implementing solutions on AWS using key services including S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, IAM roles and policies, federated identity, SSO, MFA, AppStream 2.0, Terraform, CloudFormation, and multi-account deployments
Experience implementing scalable distributed systems
Experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices
Proficiency in API-first design, with experience in integration technologies such as REST, GraphQL, JSON, messaging, and Pub/Sub
Experience with GIT version control systems
Experience in creating and managing CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead agile development teams both onshore and offshore
Proficiency in using Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
Experience with multi-account deployments and governance on AWS
Knowledge of AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, federated identity, and MFA
Expertise in container technologies such as ECS and EKS
Experience in designing and implementing serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
Experience with AWS AppStream 2.0 for application hosting
Possession of AWS certifications such as Solution Architect, SysOps Admin, Developer, or others
Demonstrated customer focus and proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the BioTech or Pharmaceutical industries is desirable, though not required
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies
