Responsibilities
- ServiceNow Solution Design Leadership
- Lead the design of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and desired business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives
- System Design Documentation
- Create detailed system design specifications and technical documentation
- Platform Architecture Expertise
- Provide leadership in ServiceNow platform architecture, guiding internal teams and customers.
- Code Review and Support
- Analyze and understand code to guide developers and provide hands-on development when needed
- Solution Architecture Review
- Conduct architecture reviews to enhance or redesign existing solutions for optimal performance
- Innovation and Prototyping
- Drive innovation by researching new technologies, conducting proof of concepts, and demonstrating prototypes
- Non-Functional Requirements Design
- Define non-functional requirements and conduct implementation reviews to identify design-to-code gaps
- Architectural Strategy Development
- Develop architectural strategies and roadmaps to support enterprise goals
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and create additional value.
- Enterprise-Grade System Expertise
- Architect, build, maintain, and operate scalable and reliable enterprise-grade systems and applications
- Technical Leadership
- Guide teams on technical best practices and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure solutions meet quality standards through design reviews, implementation checks, and testing
Requirements
- Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Relevant Work Experience
- 7+ years of experience in software development, integration, and architecture design
- ServiceNow Expertise
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities and solutions.
- Technical Proficiency
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, ServiceNow scripting, and supported technologies
- Integration Skills
- Experience with Web Services Integration using SOAP, REST, and JSON.
- Agile/DevOps Methodologies
- Experience working in DevOps teams using Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
- Regulated Environment Experience
- Experience operating in regulated environments
- Collaboration and Leadership
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate with diverse teams
- Analytical Problem-Solving
- Strong analytical and logical problem-resolution skills.
