Responsibilities
- Ensure Compliance of GxP IT Systems
- Maintain the valid status and compliance of GxP-relevant IT systems
- Application Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the lifecycle of manufacturing-related applications, including GxP and non-GxP systems.
- Manage System Upgrades and Patching
- Plan, coordinate, and execute application upgrades, patches, and related activities
- Documentation Ownership
- Ensure proper documentation of all application-related processes, changes, and updates.
- System Retirement Planning
- Manage the decommissioning and retirement of outdated or unused applications.
- Change Management Execution
- Implement and track changes to applications in alignment with project goals and compliance standards
- Incident Management and Resolution
- Coordinate incident management activities, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Vendor Collaboration
- Engage with vendors to explain issues, collaborate on solutions, and ensure timely resolution of problems
- End-to-End Landscape Understanding
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing landscape to provide effective project oversight
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Identify risks in system management and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of application-related activities
- Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in system management and application processes.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track and report on the performance and reliability of manufacturing-related IT systems.
- Compliance Enforcement
- Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Educational Background
- MA/Eng. in IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Project Team Experience
- Proven experience working with virtual or dispersed project/service teams
- Project Management Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of project management methods (PMP or Prince2 Practitioner certification).
- IT Service Delivery Knowledge
- Familiarity with IT service delivery best practices, such as ITIL
- Agile Methodology Proficiency
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Tool Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with HPSM/SNOW and Jira tools.
- Release Management Knowledge
- Basic understanding of ITIL and Release Management processes.
- Communication Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within global organizations.
- Influencing Abilities
- Proven skills in influencing and persuading stakeholders
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to foresee problems, determine solutions, and implement them effectively
- Willingness to Travel
- Readiness to travel based on project or service needs
- Software Development Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in software development roles
- IT Project Management Experience
- Minimum 5 years managing medium to large IT projects in global, multicultural environments.
- English Proficiency
- Fluency in English at C1/C2 level for effective communication
- German Language Requirement
- Mandatory proficiency in German for collaboration and documentation.
