  • Data Pipeline Development

    Developing data pipelines that integrate NLP techniques to process medical data efficiently. This involves designing, implementing, and optimizing pipelines for handling large volumes of data

  • Terminology Management

    Designing and developing systems for managing medical terminologies, mappings, and crosswalks. This includes ensuring the accuracy and consistency of terminologies used within the data pipelines

  • Validation and Testing

    Conducting validation and testing procedures to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of NLP algorithms and terminologies integrated into the data pipelines. This may involve collaborating with terminologists and other stakeholders to validate the accuracy of extracted information

  • Collaboration

    Collaborating with various stakeholders including terminologists, medical informatics architects, data engineers, RWD (Real World Data) analytics engineers, and solution architects. This collaboration aims to develop scalable solutions for incorporating terminologies into data pipelines effectively

  • Future Studies

    Contributing to the design and development of future studies by providing expertise in NLP techniques and data pipeline development. This may involve researching and implementing innovative approaches to extract insights from medical data

What we offer


  • Programming Proficiency

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, or informatics. Proficiency in Python (numpy, pandas, etc.) or R programming languages for data analysis and manipulation

  • Database Skills

    Hands-on experience with healthcare data. Strong skills in SQL for querying and manipulating databases

  • Disease Area Expertise

    In-depth knowledge in at least one of the following disease areas: oncology, neurology, immunology, infectious diseases, ophthalmology, cardiovascular, and metabolism

  • Real-World Data Experience

    Familiarity with real-world data, particularly OMOP (Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership), including data structure and usage

  • Terminology Integration

    Experience in terminology integration, utilizing standards such as OHDSI Athena and UMLS (Unified Medical Language System) for data standardization and interoperability

  • Proficiency in English

    Good English communication skills (B2 level)

  • Semantic Web Technologies (Preferred)

    List ContentKnowledge or experience with semantic web technologies such as SPARQL, RDF, OWL, and Turtle, to enhance data querying and integration capabilities
