Develop ARDs to support research questions (RQs) and ensure they meet data analysis needs.
Work closely with data scientists to understand and fulfill their data requirements for various analysis projects.
Develop medical informatics pipelines, including data extraction and integration with hospital systems, and document these pipelines and their mappings.
Oversee vendors involved in developing data pipelines and work on Natural Language Processing (NLP) workflows.
Define and implement standard methodologies across projects, including internal real-world data (RWD) initiatives and platforms like INTONATE.
Design and implement data collection solutions for sites, such as registries, to ensure comprehensive data gathering and integration.
Support Medical Affairs in generating evidence on diseases and the efficacy and safety of products through Investigator Initiated Studies and company-sponsored studies.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, or informatics.
Proven experience working with healthcare data, especially in areas such as oncology, neurology, immunology, infectious diseases, ophthalmology, cardiovascular, and metabolism.
Hands-on experience with real-world data, specifically using the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) model.
Experience integrating terminologies, including familiarity with tools like OHDSI Athena and the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS).
Proficiency in Python (numpy, pandas, etc.) or R, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with semantic web technologies (e.g., SPARQL, RDF, OWL, Turtle) is a plus.
