Seargin is looking for a Web Architect

• Position: Web Architect
• Technologies: IT Architecture, .Net, React, JavaScript
• Area: Project/Maintenance                                                         
• Localization: Remotely now/in Kraków after pandemic with one day remotely/week
• Form of employment: permanent contract
• Experience Level: Senior

Main tasks for the Web Architect will be:

• Monitoring architecture for web application development within his/her agile team and in collaboration with other closely aligned teams. Providing inputs to the product technology roadmap for service applications
• Participating in as an expert developer designing, developing, and releasing cross technology software solutions. Sharing his/her expertise throughout the product development lifecycle, as this team is fully responsible for product development and delivery
• Defining architecture constraints to assure his/her team’s development work aligns with technical and business drivers. Actively following/applying current trends in software development best practices, technologies, and company standards to create high quality products
• Strengthening the team culture of quality and high performance through leadership in daily team R&D activities. Assuring that team technical demonstrations are effective and run smoothly. Mentoring junior level team members and peer reviewing other team members’ work to ensure high product quality levels
• Demonstrating company’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for his/her contributions, team commitments, and supporting his/her colleagues
• Working in an international team and communicating in English on daily basis

The Candidate should have:

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on .NET and web development technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML 5, CSS, C#
• Professional background as a technical lead or software architect within agile software development teams
• Ability to:
  • Provide leadership on agile development practices
  • Communicate architecture requirements through appropriate design diagrams and technical descriptions
• Expertise in:
  • Web application development incl. modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js) as well as web application security
  • .NET Core development
  • Container technologies including Docker
  • Linux command line
  • Writing SQL queries
  • RESTful web API design and development
  • Data modeling
• Experience with software work tracking tools (Azure DevOps or TFS preferred) and source code version control with Git
• High capability to research and identify complex technical problems with applications
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework
