Seargin is looking for an UI/UX Designer

• Position: UI/UX Designer

• Experience Level: Junior

Main tasks for the UI/UX Designer will be:

• Collecting and assessing user demands in cooperation with product owners and software developers
• Presenting design concepts with storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Planning graphic user interface components, such as:
  • Menus
  • Tabs
  • Widgets
• Developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly show the function and appearance of sites
• Preparing original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems
• Abiding by style standards on fonts, colors and images

The Candidate should have:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional background as UI/UX Designer
• Expertise in wireframe tools
• Extensive experience with design software (UXPin, Balsamiq)
• Passion for learning new technologies
• Capability to give constructive feedback to improve processes and quality
• Self-motivation skills
• Educational background with Bachelor or Master degree in design, software engineering, scientific, or engineering subject field and a strong scientific or engineering background in addition would be a distinct advantage considering the application domain
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, solution-oriented and result-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with:
  • Designing web and mobile applications for enterprise
  • Agile development methodology such as Scrum
