Seargin is looking for an UI Designer

Main tasks for the UI Designer will be:

• Using company’s design system, translating product requirements into engaging designs for LR’s portfolio of products and to drive his/her designs to final deployment
• Creating intuitive designs that promote usability and optimize the user experience of our products
• Closely collaborating with team members and stakeholders
• Working within our lean design process, while efficiently exploring design concepts, iterating and validating design alternatives
• Participating in the system designing (giving input to the further development of the design system, initiating development of new components, etc.)
• Asking smart questions, taking risks and promoting new ideas and being absolutely relentless in his/her pursuit of excellence

The Candidate should have:

• At least 3 years of experience working as a UX or UI designer or similar role – ideally within an agile environment
• Familiarity with principles of Lean Product and Lean UX
• In-depth understanding of typography, color, layout and motion design principles
• Passion for design and technology trends
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to receive feedback and (constructive) criticism
• Experience in:
  • Working in distributed, collaborative teams and working directly with development groups for the implementation of designs
  • Working with design systems and are familiar with creating UX patterns
• Expertise in design software such as Sketch, InVision, Abstract and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Team and detail-oriented, productive and solution-oriented attitude
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and also in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Educational background in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communication & Multimedia Design/Media Technology, Information Architecture or related with Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university (or equivalent)
