The main tasks for the Test Manager will be:
- Conducting, identifying and aligning the program’s testing strategy ensure the quality and features of the deliverables are clear, agreed and communicated to all key stakeholders
- Design, establish and lead the UAT team providing the appropriate level of resources and skills to enable testing in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Planning, driving and monitoring testing activity in accordance with the testing strategy and controls framework to ensure that stakeholders, dependencies, cost, quality and time are managed within agreed parameters.
- Representing testing to ensure scheduling and prioritisation of test activities
- Promoting the role of testing to provide that it is fully understood and that there is early engagement to drive value throughout the program lifecycle, including System Integrated Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Functional Testing, Non-Functional Testing, Regression Testing and defect management and resolution.
- Managing test risks, issues and defect management processes, ensuring that the delivered solution completely meets the specifications
- Participating in development and promotion of the testing controls framework, best practice and standards to improve consistency, efficiency, effectiveness and success of the testing function.
The Candidate should have:
- Minimum 7 years of working background in related role with documented successful delivery of IT and business change testing
- ISTQB - Advanced Test Manager
- Project management Qualification such as Prince 2
- Proficiency in:
- Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Tools such as Jira, HP Quality Center and Guidewire
- Developing and implementing test strategy, plans and scripts
- Communicating effectively with various levels of internal and external management and leadership
- Ability to:
- Create effective presentations
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and handle pressure situations effectively and professionally
- Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills
- Mentor experience
- Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
- Great English skills (written and spoken)
