Seargin is looking for a Test Automation Engineer with Java

The main tasks for the Test Automation Engineer with Java will be:
  • Working closely with team members, testing and deploying project activities to achieve project and client goals
  • Completing assigned tasks on time and reporting status regularly
  • Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives

The Candidate should have:
  • Working background in different test projects for at least 4 years
  • Practical experience with
    • SQL and Integration Testing
    • JIRA and other defect tracking tools
    • Various project approaches (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Familiarity with self-organizing daily workload and reporting it to the team
  • Experience with guiding and supporting junior team members
  • Ability to occasionally travel to the client’s location
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills in software testing
  • Proactivity and responsibility for deliverables
  • Openness to new ways of working and various cultures
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 
  • Experience in
    • Financial / Insurance industry
    • Guidewire/SAP platform
  • ISTQB certificates
