The main tasks for the Test Automation Engineer will be:

• ​Working as a part of cross functional team to allow and support product and software development with acceptance & verification test to ensure quality standards
• End-to-end/Integration test for cloud/backend services within our Flow iOS/Android mobile App
• Examining, recording, tracking and resolving issues to determine root cause and prioritize
• Executing all levels of software testing (System, Integration, Regression, Release)
• Doing the test design for positive and negative test cases
• Organizing them into smoke/acceptance/ regression test suites. Maintaining these suites as application functionality evolves
• Exploring non-functional areas such as performance, security and usability testing
• Monitoring and controlling the test progress and creating internal reporting for different stakeholders
• Contribute to the existing test automation efforts to improve and expand automated test cases, along with transforming manual test cases into fully automated ones in close cooperation with the automation and service teams.

The Candidate should have:

• Professional education in IT field or equivalent experience/knowledge
• Background in Quality Assurance and testing environment
• Passionate about quality and software testing
• Ability to adjust to change and new responsibilities
• Openness to innovative concepts
• Knowledge of test management tools, like TestRail, Xray etc.
• Experience in
  • Testing applications on Mac, iOS, Android
  • Web/backend/frontend testing
  • Python, Perl or comparable scripting languages
  • Cloud-/App architectures
• Ability to apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• German language
• ISTQB certification
• Fundamental understanding of
  • Keyword-driven testing frameworks
  • Robot Framework
  • Appium
  • Selenium
