Seargin is looking for a SW engineer for database system

  • Position: SW engineer for database system
  • Technologies: Java, Database, SQL
  • Location: Szczecin/Remote or remote

The main tasks for the SW engineer for database system will be:
  • Designing software architecture
  • Verifying cooperation of software architecture components and processes
  • Organizing and leading the software development work team
  • Providing guidance and direction on project work
  • Managing
    • risk identification
    • mitigation strategies associated with the architecture being proposed
  • Making sure that the right modeling is being done
  • Working with top leaders of HW, networking, cloud, and virtualization market
  • Developing cloud infrastructure configuration and management
  • Focusing on future technology and future solutions

The Candidate should have:
  • Experienced in:
    • SW engineering and designing
    • Java backend SW development
    • SQL databases
    • Linux system
  • SW development best practices knowledge
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and technology
  • Ability to identify reusable elements
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)

 It would be a plus if the Candidate had:
  • SW architecture skills
  • Integration and delivery systems experience
  • Knowledge of:
    • js + Node.js (JavaScript, no TypeScript)
    • Spring Boot + Java
    • Bash
    • Linux Shell (sh)
    • Gerrit
    • Docker
    • Docker-compose
    • Kubernetes + Helm
