The main tasks for the Storage Area Networks Engineer will be:

• ​Monitoring, sustaining, managing and assisting in the storage area network technologies (SAN-Fabrics)
• Executing, designing and optimizing operational processes and routines
• Developing technical concept of storage area network solutions
• Supporting operational ITSM processes (Incident, Change and Problem) in SAN area
• Automating and orchestrating daily workflows by leveraging existing tools and implementing customized scripts to optimize workflows and remove repetitive tasks and activities
• Providing on-call duty 24/7

The Candidate should have:

• Finished education in IT or a equivalent education / experience
• Ability to work at conceptual level
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Understanding of
  • Windows-/Linux-Server
  • Protocols: FC / FOS/ SCSI/ NVMe/ NFS, CIFS
• Experience in ECS
• Familiarity with
  • Bash/PowerShell scripting
  • Python, Pearl, Curl
  • S3 API
• ITIL certificate
• German language
