Main tasks for the Senior Java Developer will be:

• Create, apply, check and maintain complex High Performance Computing projects with a focus on gathering, parsing, analyzing and process large sets of data
• Design and apply high-performance scalable applications in Java
• Perform profiling, troubleshooting of current solutions
• Improve enterprise level applications to manage data as a service
• Apply and use continuous integration solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Follow, support and develop software release process made for Users Acceptance
• Testing and also Production Release.

The Candidate should have:

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
• Experience as technical customer support coordinator
• Experience in working with Java object-focused programming (min 7 years is mandatory) as well as highly-scalable infrastructures
• Great knowledge on Java SE and Java EE software solution
• Operative experience as a Linux/Solaris OS user and knowledge of bash shell coding.
• Appropriate skills to develop highly scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with Oracle database platforms and SQL query optimization.
• Practical expertise in performance improvement (both application and system side) and optimization, bottleneck issues analysis.
• Significant knowledge of Java SWT/Swing GUIFramework: Spring or Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Superb Knowledge of Maven
• Sonar, Qube knowledge, code quality analyser
• Service Foused Architecture: Service integration with Web services, (REST/ and/or SOAP)
• General knowledge
  • on one of the modern JS frameworks for front end (AngularJS, React, VueJS)
  • of the main financial risk markets and dynamics
  • of mathematical finance and derivative pricing models
  • on info provider tools (Bloomberg, Reuters) and FO systems (Murex, Sophis)
  • of mathematical simulation methods particularly in financial applications
• Enjoys challenges and solve complex problems on a daily basis
• Good ability of multi-tasking and working under pressure
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
