Seargin is looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer

  • Position: Senior Java Backend Developer
  • Technologies: Java 8+, Spring Boot, μServices, Maven, Kafka, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker

Main tasks for the Senior Java Backend Developer will be:
  • Take a responsibility of a tech lead and scrum master
  • Describe and distinguish the software architecture of any elements of the TV Backend according to μServices architecture
  • Expertise of every TV software elements provided
  • Coding of new functionalities, developing, customizing and testing software for telco operators
  • Deploying applications to cloud platforms (kubernetes cluster)
  • Provide the code according Scrum / Kanban processes and in conformity with planning and quality level requirements

The Candidate should have:
  • Most important knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot and μServices architecture, Maven, REST, Kafka, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker containers
  • Good practices of technologies: Jira, Confluence, GiT/Gitlab
  • Agile software release delivery processes (Scrum, Kanban) with some proven track records
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 
  • French language on communicative level
  • JVM Internals, JVM Tuning
