The main tasks for the Senior Finance Consultant with German will be:
  • Cooperating with our account and engagement teams to build value by leading transformation efforts to set up a framework for GBS and SSC
  • Supporting clients in their Business Transition tasks from the functional side
  • Performing rapid finance process evaluation of current landscape for clients and providing insights to accelerate action
  • Executing finance processes evaluation, deep diving and analyzing pain areas, and finding the solutions
  • Contributing to shared service setup and administering process offshoring/transition/transaction activities
  • Playing the role of analyst support to transition projects, including gathering business requirements, conducting process evaluation, mapping the process, preparing implementation frameworks to transition, and operationalizing new business process
  • Speaking credibly and confidently about our solution and how it can be used to solve business process issues
  • Using his/her core skills (particularly Accounting and FP&A) to lead the initiative that creates client confidence
  • Bringing diverse and thought-provoking perspectives, including relevant market trends, new and innovative ideas from your experience, and the company’s points of view to explore solutions

The Candidate should have:
  • Consulting experience
  • Superb Data analytics and interpretation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Able to:

    • Work effectively at all levels in an organization
    • Influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
    • Perform financial close activities during Month / Quarter / Annual close periods
    • Provide accounting advice and guidance on various process transition-related topics
  • Professional background and expertise in finance and accounting functions in a minimum of two domains:
    • Record to report (RTR)
    • Procure to pay (PTP)
    • Order to cash (OTC)
    • FP&A
  • Deep understanding of financial reports and statements
  • Knowledge in the following areas: Financial Consolidation, Cost Allocation, Finance Planning, and Budgeting Processes
  • Background in Account Reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany and Fixed assets accounting/management
  • Advanced knowledge of ledger and sub-ledger systems
  • Working knowledge of:
    • GBS / SSC setup engagements. This involves practical experience in business process transition assignments and related activities
    • Performance Improvement initiatives and identifying potential opportunities to improve business process performance
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent articulation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English and German skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 
  • Experience in:
    • IFRS implementation project(s) / IFRS Reporting
    • Chart of Accounts (CoA) design
  • Ability to:
    • Effectively prioritize and perform tasks in a high-pressure
    • Convert business requirements into technical language and model
    • Coordinate the project and manage/supervise teams of people on project work
  • Readiness to travel (Domestic & International)
  • Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting
  • Total of experience 7+ years (including 3+ years of professional background in Business Transition/GBS/SSC setup activities)
  • Familiarity with:
    • Business Finance Transformation, GBS/SSC Setup
    • ERP, HFM, Visio, ARIS, etc.
