The main tasks for the Senior DevOps Support Engineer

will be:

• Creating, developing, testing, deploying, sustaining, and increasing technology solutions
• Making sure that software is constantly issue-ready with revised versions of the product, in the working state
• Structuring, test and sustaining constant incorporation and providing workflows using CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc.)
• Delivering Technological assistance and be accountable for the upkeep of applications and systems in the international environment
• Awareness of the needs of participants and support developers in the company by means of enhancing CI/CD processes
• Checking and reporting relevant KPIs and SLAs – incorporating system and support status statements to application stakeholders
• Client notification, and connections, with workflow co-ordination, and follow-ups, to sustain service level agreements and customer satisfaction
• Working with other groups on active topics and to create/update team specific knowledge base and skillsets
• Building, and managing, a solid working relationship with application stakeholders
• Willingness to work in shifts and open to business travels at customer locations

The Candidate should have:

• Practice in DevOps roles/procedures including design, composition, continuous integration & providing workflows in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc.)
• Skill in Linux/Windows Administration with scripting ability in one or more languages such as:
• PowerShell Python,
• Bash,
• PowerShell
• Groovy
• Great technical insight on web applications and database elements such as Apache, IIS, Tomcat/JBoss, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.
• Practice in supporting functions (involving Java, .Net, and node JS, etc.) in a production environment
• Practice in preserving & controlling Docker and Kubernetes clusters
• Practice in structure management (Ansible, Puppet, etc.) and version control (GitLab, GitHub, etc.) systems
• Practice in installing, checking, and sustaining Cloud systems (Azure Cloud, AWS)
• Understanding of application load balancing solutions for scaling and HA
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, SNMP, HTML/HTML 5, AD/LDAP, MS SSIS and SSRS, MS NAV
• Must have expertise in the following technologies:
• MS Azure with Azure DevOps
• Runbook for Azure
• PowerShell scripting
• AKS – Azure Kubernetes Service
• Windows Server 2012 / 2016
• MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014
• Sense of or experience in Agile Development Environment
• Capability to understand and adapt to new technologies and practices
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had:

• Certificate or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline with 5 or more years’ of total IT experience
• Great technical knowledge of Microservice oriented solutions, APIs, Azure AD and common Cloud authentication patterns
• Cloud/DevOps Certification (MS Azure/AWS)
