Seargin is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer

• Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
• Location: Katowice (due to pandemia, currently work can be performed remotely)
• Form of employment: Permanent employment
• Skills: DevOps (CI/CD) tools: Terraform, Jenkins, Maven, Chef, Elastic stack, Git and Nagios and cloud: Azure (preferrably) or AWS

Main tasks for the Senior DevOps Engineer will be:

• Modernizing and optimizing software delivery utilizing the newest and greatest DevOps skills from automated provisioning to automating CI/CD Pipeline
• Become part of a team that provides cutting edge solutions to our customers and believes in constant development, knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Developing our Product Quality and Engineering Productivity with the usage of the latest DevOps technology stack such as: Azure, AWS, VMware, Terraform, Jenkins, Maven, Chef, Elastic stack, Git and Nagios.

The Candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge in the areas Software Configuration Management
• At least of 4 years of experience in a Continuous Integration, Deployment, or software product development area
• Proven application of technologies like Jenkins, Git, Chef, Artifactory, Maven, VMWare, Azure, AWS, Nagios and Terraform
• Experience in Coding languages such as Python, Ruby, PowerShell
• Modern Source Control Management eg. Git
• Experienced with the improvement and deployment of software automated tests or software automated test frameworks
• Presented ability to identify new technologies in DevOps space
• General knowledge of IT networking infrastructure
• Appropriate skills to clearly and precisely share innovative solutions and complex technical information in verbal and written form
• Experience with automated build systems
• Bringing contribution to open source software projects
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)
