The main tasks for the Senior Data Engineer with Azure will be:

• Working with Azure and T-SQL
• Pulling data from existing systems
• Working with
  • Power BI
  • Azure Data Factory
  • SSIS
• Transforming business problems/challenges into technical solutions with attention for security, performance, scalability etc.
• Implementing enterprise-class solutions

The Candidate should have:

• Professional experience in similar role for at least 6 years
• Solid knowledge and experience in design techniques of relational databases, ETL, Data Marts, Data Warehouses (e.g. dimensions modelling)
• Familiarity with data governance approaches
• Understanding the significance of order and security in data processing
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Knowledge of Agile methodology like Scrum or Kanban
• Familiarity with
  • Data lakes
  • Actual data managing and warehousing aggregation
  • Business Intelligence tools
• Experience working with BI/ETL tools on Azure/GCP/AWS cloud
• Familiarity with other RDBMS such as Oracle, DB2, Teradata
• Knowledge of database and ETL performance tuning concepts
• Skill in developing ETL in PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, Ab Initio, Talend, Alteryx, IBM Data Stage, Dataiku, Oracle Data Integrator or other
