The main tasks for the SCADA Engineer will be:

• Developing and supporting central SCADA systems, based on AVEVA Solutions (Wonderware and OSIsoft)
• Planning, improving, installing, configuring, supporting, and maintaining system and application servers along with their interface requirements to connect to local site-specific SCADA systems
• Resolving incident reports within the SLA, planning and patching support across all systems, and remaining on standby for major incidents
• Controlling power plant site upgrades such as T2000 to T3000, configuring new connections and ensuring stable operation of these systems
• Expanding network services in the SCADA systems and supporting business applications/V-Node plans

The Candidate should have:

• Solid proficiency in
  • SCADA
  • AVEVA systems such as Wonderware or Osisoft
  • Combining SCADA skills with applied system design thinking
• Expertise in creating and sustaining central SCADA systems, serving as middleware in a flow from physical media to user analysis of data series
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, such as OPC DA, XML and UA, IEC 104, and Modbus
• Experience with MS SQL Server system administration, SQL query, and MS Windows Server system administration
• Ability to discuss the requirements and tasks in cooperation with our Windows Server and network delivery teams
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)
