The main tasks for the SAP Project Manager will be:

• Collaborate with the client to prioritize the project in order to achieve the desired objectives and organizational benefits
• Manage the use and allocation of resources to ensure that the right resources with the right skills and capabilities are allocated to all projects to deliver a quality product
• Co-ordinating and managing the scope, timescales, and budgets of multiple parallel project streams
• Execution of SAP implementation projects according to the agreed scope, schedule, and budget
• Efficient communication of project status and key project metrics (KPIs) to stakeholders and customers and, if necessary, to the entire company
• Lead the development of project strategy, project role staffing, problem-solving, and project recovery
• Successfully reducing project risks through risk identification and proactive planning
• Identifying and developing new customer opportunities
• Set up and maintain the balance between the project team, sponsors, resource managers, and stakeholders
• Customer Relationship Management (up to upper-management level)

The Candidate should have:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management
• Familiarity with tools: Jira, Confluence
• Strong understanding of SAP migration strategies and experience working in SAP greenfield implementations and SAP S/4 conversion projects
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience in collaborating with remote teams
• Expertise in managing SAP Implementation projects (SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANA) for customers in various industries
• A collaborative, flexible, and responsive approach to people
• Readiness to travel in the post-pandemic period (25-50%)
• Strong leadership and responsibility
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Background in managing external suppliers
• Experience in the automotive industry
• PMP, SAP Activate, or equivalent certification
• Knowledge of the German language
