The main tasks for the Linux Consultant will be:

• Processing incident managing by examining and solving difficulties, inadequacies, and performance issues
• Supporting and putting up server settings, incl:
  • security configuration
  • backups
  • monitoring as per existing policies and standards
• Handling and scanning the general Linux/Unix server health and functionality
• Acting out system fine-tuning and optimization for potential development and performance needs
• Addressing and remediating problems raised during safety or health scans, as well as recognizing and stating on governance violations.

The Candidate should have:

• Solid familiarity with the Linux/Unix setting, retaining or altering:
  • operating systems
  • operating system software
  • and associated hardware
• Familiarity with:
  • Oracle Linux
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Practice with:
  • VMware
  • HP hardware
  • Red Hat Satellite 6
  • and Red Hat IDM
• Sense of the Azure cloud platform
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)
