Seargin is looking for a Kubernetes and Cloud Operations Engineer

  • Position: Kubernetes and Cloud Operations Engineer
  • Technologies: Kubernetes, Azure, CI/CD

Main tasks for the Kubernetes and Cloud Operations Engineer will be:
  • Scope of work (including but not limited to):
    • Kubernetes clusters as a platform for business projects: design, implementation, administration, security, maintaining and improvement;
    • DevOps support for handled projects;
    • Take part in design, modifications and deployment of a new worldwide overseeing platform based on Azure Monitor suite for Azure cloud infrastructure, services and applications;
    • Making design and operational documentation.

The Candidate should have:
  • Most important requirements and knowledge of the mentioned technologies:
    • Microsoft Azure Cloud;
    • Containers and Kubernetes Clusters (Docker, Helm, ACR, AKS, service mesh);
    • Vulnerability scanning and security tools for containers and K8s;
    • Monitoring toolset:
    • Azure Monitor suite (Insights, Log Analytics, metrics, alert rules);
    • Prometheus and Grafana;
    • Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines;
    • Terraform and ARM patterns;
    • Operational knowledge of Azure PaaS resources;
    • Python, PowerShell, Bash coding.
  • Experience welcome but not necessary initially:
    • SCRUM & DevOps approach;
    • Knowledge of full stack development;
    • Kubernetes on-premises experience;
    • Linux OS;
    • Basic Networking.
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)
