The main tasks for the Kafka Consultant will be:

• Together with the crew, developing and set up Kafka elements and components corresponding to the architecture plan
• Incorporating Kafka elements and new elements into the current development achieved by other project participants
• Advising and implementing enhancements, elements, or recommendations established on the existing development plan
• Verifying and deploying the newly developed features
• Guiding and mentoring other participants on Kafka or other topics
• Creating technical documents for reference
• Sharing the experience with other crew members

The Candidate should have:

• 7 or more years of involvement in:
  • deploying
  • maintaining
  • monitoring
  • and securing Apache Kafka / Confluent platform
• Familiar with Python and/or Java
• Familiar with database solutions and SQL – ksqlDB, Synapse, or another database language
• Capability and enthusiasm to guide, mentor and teach other engineers
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Skilled in containerization, if possible AKS
• Familiar with Azure and Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform
• Worked in Agile in a diverse, global group
