Seargin is looking for a Java Backend Developer

  • Position: Java Backend Developer
  • Technologies: Java 8+, Spring Boot, μServices, Maven
  • Localization: Warszawa

Main tasks for the Java Backend Developer will be:
  • Programming new functionalities, developing, improving and testing software for telco operators
  • Implementing applications to cloud platforms (kubernetes cluster)
  • Delivering the code according Scrum / Kanban processes and in conformity with planning and quality level requirements

The Candidate should have:
  • Knowledge of:
    • Java 8+
    • Spring Boot
    • μServices architecture
    • Maven
    • REST
  • Proficiency in tools: Jira, Confluence, GiT/Gitlab
  • Familiarity with Agile software release delivery processes (Scrum, Kanban) with some
  • proven track records
  • Autonomy, curiosity, creativity & innovation, perseverance
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 
  • Knowledge of:
    • Kafka, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker containers
    • JVM Internals, JVM Tuning
