The main tasks for the IT Solution Architect will be:

• Responsibility for analysis of requirements, specifications, and design of architecture for solutions from the Manufacturing interoperability environment (e.g. MES, I4.0, SAP)
• Independently develop and be responsible for architecture concepts in all systems
• Representing the department as a technical expert on company committees
• Coordination of activities with relevant stakeholders (inside and outside of the Company)
• Guarantee the technical and commercial viability as well as the successful integration of the system
• Responsibility for the technical efficiency and scalability of the software products and/or services
• Independently manage and advise on the implementation of projects in cooperation with developers
• Independently solve design problems that arise from interactions between various projects
• Commitment to shaping the agile process model to ensure continuous improvement within the team, among stakeholders, and at points of contact with other teams
• Responsibility for dealing with domain-specific questions from the relevant domain experts
• Identifying optimization opportunities via techniques such as Automation, DevOps CI/CD, Cloud, and Data Analytics

The Candidate should have:

• Graduate degree in information technology (computer science etc.) or equivalent specialization
• A couple of years of experience in software or data architecture (ideally in the IoT or i4.0 environment), and in developing software solutions based on Java (ideally Python)
• Individuality and professional practice: Strong standards, strong personal motivation, self-reliance, independence, problem-solving drive, great social skills, a good communication skills, assertiveness
• Preferred familiarity with semantic technologies (RDF, OWL), previous experience in requirements engineering, Cloud, UML, architecture design, and documentation (e.g. arc42). TOGAF Certification
• Being interested in new challenges, up-to-date trends, and new technology
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
