Seargin is looking for an Identity & Access Management - Senior Operations Specialist

The main tasks for the Identity & Access Management - Senior Operations Specialist will be:
  • Making sure that the platform components like web server, application server, database server, API server, etc. are monitored, and events are filtered and categorized. By relying on the playbooks he/she defines, makes sure that he/she or members of the operational team perform the right actions
  • Ensuring that the events are monitored via SPLUNK and that the monitoring & alerting solution is always up to date. He/she takes care that new monitoring & alarming possibilities are being analyzed and implemented. Existing monitoring mechanisms will be adapted to new implementations of the platform. He/she creates playbooks for all kinds of incidents in close alignment with the development and support teams
  • Analyzing independently relevant incidents based on SPLUNK monitoring as well as feedback from the development and support teams. Creating and documenting those incident and problem tickets within the ticket system IBM CLM. Non-solvable tickets are forwarded to the respective internal and external teams
  • Installing deployment packages and monitoring those new releases in close alignment with the other teams
  • Setting up new servers if necessary. Implementing new or modifying existing configurations
  • Continuously searching for improvements/automation possibilities in the area of operations and implementing them
  • Proactively transferring his/her knowledge within regular team meetings to other operations colleagues as well as the developing and supporting team members
  • Supporting development of specialist concepts for subjects/processes of other technical consultants
  • Supporting projects in the area of Identity Management like Roll-Out, Identity Lifecycle Management
  • Supporting the support/onboarding/development teams
The Candidate should have:
  • Several years of professional background in the domain of application/infrastructure operations of large and complex Enterprise IT solutions
  • Deep knowledge about well-known technologies/topics like:
    • SQL databases
    • Web Services
    • Active Directory
    • Windows Server (among others IIS)
    • LDAP
    • Distributed server architectures
  • Proactive and structured way of working, conceptual thinking, customer-oriented, self-responsible
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)
It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 
  • Knowledge in the area of:
    • Development, e.g. PowerShell, SQL, Visual Basic (.NET), C++, web technologies (JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS, HTML5)
    • Identity & Access Management, e.g. via One Identity Manager
    • Event management via SPLUNK
