Seargin is looking for a Hadoop Platform Owner

The main tasks for the Hadoop Platform Owner will be:

• Adapting the Hadoop Platform to the requirements of inner client
• Backing the development crew in identifying the development standards for Hadoop
• Aiding the Architect with platform detailed understanding
• Running subjects such as
  • Examining
  • Approval/validation notion
• Bringing in own notions for the platform shape and it’s further roadmap
• Aiding issues concerning our CI/CD toolchain
• Helping the development crew
• Bringing in own ideas for technical and organizational improvements
• Configuration and assistance of Application Infrastructure Consultant, every time new links to the Hadoop Cluster have to be launched

The Candidate should have:

• Familiarity with Hadoop Platform Construction subjects such as:
  • Design & Application of AIM notions
  • Incorporation of Hadoop setting in CI/CD toolchain
  • Outline of a platform wide observing solution for Platform including Applications running in the Hadoop Cluster
  • Design and Application of Support Notion for the Hadoop Platform / Applications operating in the Hadoop Cluster
  • Identify Development and Documentation Standards
  • Understanding of the:
    • Cloudera division,
    • Spark, HDFS,
    • Hive/Impala,
    • Python,
    • ELT
  • Simple Kafka, Airflow, Kudu, Sqoop understanding to discuss application developers, perform troubleshooting and adjust the individual structure of the services
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Oracle knowledge
