The main tasks for the Guidewire Java Developer will be:

• Participating in various streams of Guidewire implementation projects
• Collaborating with team members, developing and deploying projects to meet project and client expectations
• Finishing assigned tasks on time and regularly reporting status to the Lead
• Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives

The Candidate should have:

• Professional experience in Java/Guidewire development
  • 1+ year for Mid position
  • 5+ years in Senior position
• Knowledge of any JVM technologies or surrounding ecosystem (e.g. Java 8, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, any Application Server, any Enterprise Messaging System)
• Awareness of good coding practices (Clean Code, Design Patterns)
• Willingness to learn and improve skills in software development
• Readiness to business travels to the customer’s locations on a need basis
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Hands-on experience with
  • Angular 5
  • Kotlin
• German / French language skills
