Seargin is looking for a Front-end Java Developer

• Position: Front-end Java Developer
• Technologies: Java, AngularJS, Angular2+, React, Typescript
• Location: Remote (once / twice a month onsite in Cracow/ Wrocław/ Warsaw/ Szczecin)

The main tasks for the Front-end Java Developer will be:

• Being responsible for frontend development of modern enterprise applications with the use of Angular framework
• Participating in one of our agile autonomous feature teams
• Suggesting improvement possibilities and coaching the team

The Candidate should have:

• At least 3-4 years of experience in Java
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
• Solid experience with AngularJS & Angular2+ or React/Typescript
• Practical experience with HTML5 / CSS3/JavaScript
• Professional background with enterprise application development, usage of enterprise integration patterns and best practices
• Familiarity with:
  • Fundamental OO design patterns and programming best practices (TDD, DDD, Pair Programming)
  • Microservice architecture
  • SQL databases (ANSI SQL, Oracle PL/SQL is an advantage)
  • JUnit/Mockito
  • Maven/Gradle
  • Git (Bitbucket)
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Professional background as a Full-stack developer with Java and Spring framework familiarity
• Practical knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of:
  • CI/CD (Jenkins, Nexus)
  • OIDC/OAuth2, Quarkus Framework + MicroProfile – for more security-related positions
  • Norwegian or another Scandinavian language
• Love of data warehouses, large data processing – for more financial crime prevention related positions
