Seargin is looking for an Embedded Software Quality Engineer

Main tasks for the SOC Security Analyst will be:

• Developing and implementing a quality management strategy to build quality into design across New Product Introductions
• Contributing to requirements specification and documentation for feature development
• Demonstrating collaborative partnerships with peers, leaders, and stakeholders
• Implementing metrics and dashboards to provide ongoing visibility to quality goals and objectives
• Autonomously and in a group community working to deliver solutions in a fast-paced community
• Working with product development teams due to create standard processes and methods to develop high quality Embedded Software
• Leading RCFA to insure corrective and preventative actions address systemic root causals and eliminates repeats
• Appling structured analytical and problem-solving techniques to resolve complex issues and drive performance results
• Facilitating and participating in retrospectives for continuous improvement of products and processes. Promote development and tracking of action items.
• Sharing best practices throughout the organization

The Candidate should have:

• 8 or more years of experience in SW/ESW Product Design and/or Testing, Technical Support, or other Testing/Quality Assurance role
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other similar counterpart technical degree background
• At least 5 years experience of working in an Embedded Software Development Environment
• Familiarity with requirements management tools and managing detectability between prerequisites and test cases
• Knowledge of complete life cycle of product development including processes to control quality outputs
• Ablility to successfully work on many projects at the same time under tight product development schedules
• Good documentation and presentation skills
• Agile Development Methodologies (i.e., Scrum, SAFe, Lean Startup, etc.) skills
• Lean, Six Sigma, CMMI and/or ISO skills
• NPI experience on big capital systems
• Embedded firmware development tools working experience, including the capability to debug, step through code and perform traces
• Awareness/experience with cybersecurity standards and testing highly integrated software products
• Experience in analyzing and solving problems which entail firmware and hardware
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Quality Engineer certification, Master of Science or MBA
