Seargin is looking for a DevOps Engineer

Main tasks for the DevOps Engineer will be:

• Cooperating with development teams on system reliability, performance, and efficiency for products hosted in the public cloud
• Automating processes to safely implement software, mitigate system failures, and improve operational efficiency
• Proactively identifying and developing opportunities to better automation, reliability, performance & monitoring/alerting
• Providing operational support for cloud infrastructure and DevOps toolchain including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to prevent repeat issues
• Working with developers, IT infrastructure and operations teams, and IT security teams to assure adherence to cloud platform governance and security standards
• Providing observability by deploying monitoring and alerting solutions, building dashboards and reports, and tracking metrics for different audiences
• Creating and maintaining detailed documentation
• Openly sharing knowledge across the organization
• Learning continuously

The Candidate should have:

• Educational background with Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or in related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in platform engineering or similar discipline (software / reliability / cloud engineering), preferably with a focus on Microsoft technologies
• Documented experience designing or deploying highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions in MS Azure or other public cloud services
• Professional background in:
  • Working with CI/CD pipelines, pipeline-as-code; experience with Azure DevOps preferred
  • Deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Salt, etc.
  • Developing in PowerShell
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)
